Colour: Heartwood is a light brown, sapwood is a pale yellow to nearly white. Colour tends to darken with age.
With the rustic nature of the boards there will be colour variation within the boards, from browns to blues.

Grain/ Texture: Grain is straight with an even, medium texture.
Boards are cut with a circular saw, so it will have the circular saw marks on the boards.
